I have noticed that many restaurants have recently had a high turn-over of servers. I think this is related to the economy. Folks just are not dining out as frequently today and that the good servers have moved on to other jobs, since the money is not what it was in a better economy. Just my two-cents.

Re: Nashua Telegraph Blogs

Lisa,

Just to let you know I live in Virginia. Each time I visit New Hampshire, I find T-Bones to be my favorite place to eat. My wife and I enjoy the great family atmosphere and let's not forget a good drink at the bar. We were never disappointed with T-Bones service, the friendly staff and the food being always cooked to satisfaction.

Re: Nashua Telegraph Blogs

Hi all,

My name is Lisa Allen, I am director of customer care out of T-BONES' home office. Their service and behavior in the bar in unacceptable, They make sure their friends are taken care of and to heck with the rest of the customers.

There are plenty of good bar tenders around I don't know how T-Bones ended up with the ones they have.

Re: Nashua Telegraph Blogs

When management fires reliable, personable, fun, efficient waiters for absurd reasons it lets you know they don't care much about service or their employees lately. Then they overwork the servers they have left to the point that they're sometimes left in tears. I don't know what's happening there, but I do know it's not enjoyable anymore. Some of the nicest people work there, and I believe even the long-timers are walking on pins and needles wondering if they'll be 'next'!

Re: Nashua Telegraph Blogs

I go to T-Bones in Hudson pretty regularly (at least once a week) and I must say that, although the food I have is consistently great, the service is hit or miss. There used to be a time when the servers had all been there for years, but it seems that there has been a huge amount of turn-over as of late. The servers who have been there for a while are absolutely wonderful. Some of the new servers seem to be bothered by special requests, or seem incredibly frazzled all the time. So, great food, and hit or miss service. We've learned who to request when we go there to avoid possible issues with the service.

Re: Nashua Telegraph Blogs

I went to the Hudson T-Bones twice over a few week period in June and July. The first time, I ordered a BLT Burger. It was at a busy time of day, but it took forever to place the order and too long to get it. When I got the burger, it was COLD and the bread was soaked with cool greese. I complained and got the meal for free. I went back again a couple of weeks later, on a Sunday afternoon at about 2 pm, and had a similar result, long wait, the burger wasn't as bad, but it was far from hot. I did not complain the 2nd time. I will not go back for a long time.

Re: Nashua Telegraph Blogs

I have to add a story of my own. I was dining, in the bar, of the T Bones in Bedford. Three other people from work met me there as well, so it was a table for four. We had good food as well but heres what happened to me: My drink of choice was a tall bud light draft and the waitress asked if me and another person wanted a refill. We said yes, but she replied by saying they need to reuse our glasses to get us our refill. I thought that was odd, but I have been going to T Bones since the very early 90's and gave them the benefit of the doubt and handed my glass over. Two minutes later we get our refills and we start drinking. AHHHH nice cold beer........THEN another waitress came over to inform us we were given the wrong classes! We just drank from someon elses USED glasses! I was absolutely mortified! I have watched, with much disappointment, the down fall of T Bones as I knew it. The menu, service and "Cheers" type feeling is history! Just when I thought I found the best kept secret in dining, someone went and screwed it up. This has been an ongoing thing with T Bones lately.

Sadly,

Karen
